Wildfire Victims: Free screening of ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ scheduled for August 9th

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Families affected by the recent Central Oregon wildfires are being invited to enjoy a free day at the movies this weekend.

The community event will take place Sunday (August 9th) at McMenamins Old St. Francis School in Bend, and is open to families impacted by the fires.

Organizers say the day is meant to provide a chance to relax, connect with others, and take a break from the stress of wildfire season.

Free tickets are required to enter and can be reserved online through Eventbrite.

Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
