Public urged to help find three missing children last seen in Prineville

Salem, ORE. (KTVZ) --- The Oregon Department of Human Services is asking for the public's help to find three children who went missing from Prineville on Tuesday, Aug. Four. Jayc Priest, 12, Jayriq Rupert, 9 and Jerriyah Rupert, 4, are believed to be in significant danger.

The department's Child Welfare Program issued a missing child alert Friday morning. Officials stated that when a child is missing, the agency must locate them to support and assess their safety.

Priest is 12 years old with brown hair. Rupert is 9 years old and Rupert is 4 years old; both also have brown hair. While officials provided photos of Jayc and Jayriq, a photo of Jerriyah was not available at the time of the alert.

The children are suspected to be in Central Oregon. According to the Oregon. Department of Human Services, they are known to frequent Prineville and Bend, Ore., as well as Stillwater, Okla.

The Prineville Police Department is investigating the disappearance under report number 26000887. The case is also registered with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as report number 2097536.
