State seeks public input on higher education’s future
Short survey online until Dec. 24
SALEM, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) and the Coraggio Group invite you to provide input on the future of postsecondary education and training in Oregon through a short online survey.Â
The HECC has embarked on a process to develop a new Strategic Plan for Oregon’s postsecondary education system to improve educational outcomes across the state. To inform this plan, we invite public input from higher education partners, stakeholders and Oregonians statewide.
Please complete the HECC Strategic Plan Survey by Dec. 24, 2019. The direct address of the survey is https://www.research.net/r/HECC-Survey. The survey must be completed in one session, and we expect it to take approximately 10-15 minutes of your time. The survey is hosted by Coraggio Group, a strategy and change consultancy with whom we have engaged to support our outreach efforts. It covers the following topics:
- Your ideas on Oregon’s vision for the future of postsecondary education
- Your perspective on the state educational attainment goals, public investment, and accountability
- Your insight on strategic priorities such as student success, equity, affordability, and economic/community impact, including what should be prioritized over the next five years
Our goal is to understand the many facets of these challenging issues through the perspectives of the diverse higher education community of partners and stakeholders statewide.Â
Please feel free to share this invitation widely with your audiences, including colleagues, current and prospective students, educators at all levels, families, friends, community partners, and any Oregonians who may be interested in the future of higher education in our state. Thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing your thoughts.
