Les Schwab expands into C. Calif., Colorado
Les Schwab Tire Centers Inc. has opened six new stores in California’s San Joaquin Valley and five in Colorado, a trade magazine reported Wednesday.
These locations mark Les Schwab’s entry into the Central California and Colorado markets, according to the report on TireBusiness.com from the Bend-based company.
Les Schwab held grand opening celebrations Oct. 18-20 at its new retail locations in Denver, Aurora and Littleton, Colo., a company press release said. The celebrations included food trucks, prize drawings, entertainment and fundraising for local high schools.
The two other new Colorado stores are in Parker and Highlands Ranch, Les Schwab said.
The company also had similar grand opening celebrations Nov. 8-10 at its three new stores in Fresno, Dinuba, Los Banos and Clovis, Calif., the press release stated. The celebrations included ticket giveaways for the new film, “Breaking Dawn: Part II.”
With the new openings, Les Schwab said it now has 444 locations in Oregon, California, Colorado, Nevada, Montana, Washington, Idaho, Utah and Washington state, employing more than 6,600 workers altogether.
Although it declined to discuss specifics, Les Schwab said it is always looking for opportunities to better serve its customers, and will continue to expand in Western markets.
