Redmond schools set summer meals schedule

The Redmond School District has announced its free Summer Meals Program schedule for the summer of 2013.

The program allows any Redmond children who are 18 years of age and under to receive a nutritious breakfast and lunch at no charge. No registration is required.

The Redmond School District participates in the USDA Summer Food Service Program to provide meals at three locations in the community: Sam Johnson Park, Redmond Boys & Girls Club and Terrebonne Community School. Last year,Redmond School District served approximately7,763 meals through the Summer Meal Program.

Below is a list of meal sites and times:

Sam Johnson Park

Breakfast: 8:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. Lunch: 11:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Redmond Boys and Girls Club

Breakfast: 8:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. Lunch: 11:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Terrebonne Community School

Breakfast: 8:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. Lunch: 11:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
