Redmond set to celebrate 30 years as ‘Flag City USA’

For 30 years, the Redmond Downtown Flag Committee has made sure the city lives up to its 'Flag City USA' label, with what's now 1,800 flags displayed around the community on several holidays throughout the year. A birthday party for the program is set for 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday in Centennial Park.
