Bite of Bend wraps with top chefs, Beer Run

The final day of Bend’s weekend food festival, the Bite of Bend, featured two competitive events Sunday

The top chef competition had its final rounds on Sunday. The cooking battle took place between eight chefs from various restaurants in Central Oregon, preparing dishes with an hour time-limit in front of a live audience.

Also taking place: the 5K Beer Run. Nearly 600 residents hit the pavement for a three-mile course featuring three pit stops for beer.
