The Bethlehem Inn, Central and Eastern Oregon’s only emergency shelter for individuals and families, is proud to announce it has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the St. Charles Health System in support of the Inn’s Families First Program.

“We are honored and very excited to have been selected for this critical funding support from the St. Charles Health System,” stated Gwenn Wysling, Executive Director of the Inn.

“The Inn currently partners with St. Charles to ensure access to healthcare is available for the underserved, disadvantaged adults in our community. This grant represents a financial level of general operating support for the segment of our program serving families experiencing homelessness.”

The Bethlehem Inn provided shelter, food and support to 754 individuals and children last year; over 67,000 meals were served to those in crisis. Another 341 non-residents received food and support services.
