2 finalists remain for top job at Oregon Tech
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) — The search for Oregon Tech’s next president is down to two finalists, and one of them is visiting.
The Herald and News reports (https://is.gd/dvs6qC ) that Nagi Naganathan was at the Klamath Falls campus Monday, speaking to students and faculty. He visits the Wilsonville campus on Tuesday.
Naganathan now serves as dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Toledo in Ohio.
The second finalist is scheduled to visit next week. That person’s name has not been disclosed.
The university’s Board of Trustees plans to select the new president by mid-November.
Trustee Kelley Minty Morris says Oregon Tech is looking for someone with strong leadership to take it to the next level.
Former president Chris Maples left this summer after eight years on the job.
