OSP seeks help with I-84 death investigation
ARLINGTON, Ore. (AP) — The Oregon State Police seeks the public’s help as it investigates the death of a man whose body was found next to his vehicle near Interstate 84 west of Arlington.
The agency says it’s believed the 36-year-old man from Vancouver, Washington, died Thursday from a self-inflicted gunshot. Callers, however, reported seeing two other vehicles there before police arrived.
One was a dark-colored pickup that had a canopy. The other was described as cream-colored pickup.
Those who might have checked on the man’s condition or may have more information about what happened are asked to contact The Dalles Area Command at 541-296-9646.
