N.C. man fatally shot in SW Oregon; no arrests
GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) — Authorities have identified a man found shot to death in Josephine County as a 25-year-old originally from North Carolina.
The sheriff’s office said Jason George has been living in Cave Junction for the past couple of years. His body was found Friday in O’Brien, an unincorporated community near the California state line.
The Oregon State Police is leading the homicide investigation.
