Redmond School Dist. seeks advisory panel volunteers

T he Redmond School District is seeking individuals interested in serving on a new District Advisory Committee.

The District Advisory Committee will review aspects of policies, practices, and programs presented to the Committee and advise the Superintendent on such areas. Applicants should be representative of the Redmond community population and involved in, or concerned with, the education of children. A majority of the members must be parents or students in the Redmond School District.

The volunteer members of the committee will be appointed by the superintendent for a term of two years, not to exceed two terms. The District Advisory Committee will meet at least three times annually throughout the school year.

Students, parents, teachers and community members are invited to apply. Applications for the District Advisory Committee can be found online on the district’s website or in person at the RSD District Office located at 145 SE Salmon Drive in Redmond. Deadline for applications is Friday, December 16 .
