Sisters City Council names 4 city manager finalists

The Sisters City Council has identified four finalists for the position of city manager: two from Oregon and one each from California and Florida: Brant Kucera, Martha Meeker, David Miller, and Bruce St. Denis.
Brant Kucera is the current City Manager of Cannon Beach, OR, where he has served since November 2014. Mr. Kucera has 17 years of upper-level city management experience, including as Borough Manager of Kennett Square, PA, and City Manager of Gladstone, MI. He holds a Masters of Public Administration degree from Northern Michigan University.
Martha Meeker was most recently the City Manager of McMinnville, OR, where she served for two years. Prior to her tenure in McMinnville, Ms. Meeker built a distinguished career in the United States Air Force, where she rose to the rank of Brigadier General and held significant management positions. She holds multiple masters degrees, including in Operational Art and Science from the USAF Air and Command Staff College.
David Miller currently serves as the Public Works and Community Development Director for the City of Folsom, CA. Mr. Miller has 15 years of upper-level city management experience, including as Development Services Manager for the Santa Clara (CA) Valley Transportation Authority, and Community Development Director for La Grande, OR. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from the University of Washington.
Bruce St. Denis currently serves as District Manager for Development, Financing, and Planning Group, a private municipal service management firm in Tampa, FL. Previously, Mr. St. Denis served as Town Manager for the Town of Longboat Key, FL for 15 years. He holds a Masters of Management degree from the University of South Florida.
The community will have a chance to meet the finalists in-person at a special meet-and-greet event on Monday, May 22 nd .from 5-6:30 p.m. at FivePine Lodge, 1021 Desperado Trail Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss topics of interest with the finalists in an informal setting.
Final interviews will be conducted on Tuesday, May 23; the City Council expects to make its selection by Wednesday May 24 th .
