NeighborImpact seeks volunteers for NE Bend survey

KTVZ

NeighborImpact is looking for volunteers for an important community project; surveying households in select northeast Bend neighborhoods. The survey is part of a nationwide effort to measure experiences of folks living in select communities. It is also a requirement for funding NeighborImpact receives from NeighborWorks America.

This is the second time that this survey will be conducted in this area. The initial survey was done in the summer of 2013. The purpose of conducting the survey a second time is in an attempt to measure changes and consistencies in resident experiences.

Those interested in volunteering are asked to go to NeighborImpact.org/CIM and click the “Sign-Up” link and select the times contact Meredith Berrigan at 541-323-6561 or by email at MeredithB@NeighborImpact.org . Volunteers will participate in a training prior to conducting the survey and also receive a t-shirt.

We will be reaching out to over 500 NE Bend area residents and are hoping for 100+ volunteers or for volunteers to sign up for multiple 2 hour sessions. Volunteers will go out in pairs and can bring a friend, neighbor, relative or spouse as their partner. Both do not have to go through the training but the one that did complete the training would be the speaker and other person would make them a pair for safety and support.

NeighborImpact is a 21 Cares for KIds partner.
