Downtown Bend gas line replacement wrapping up

Cascade Natural Gas crews are wrapping up the downtown Bend gas line replacement project, and repaving should be complete this week, officials said.

CNG said to look for asphalt crews in Electric Avenue Alley, which is the alley between Northwest Minnesota and Franklin avenues.

Paving crews should move across Franklin Avenue Tuesday and work south, then east to Lava Road.

They expect to complete the project by Friday. The alley will remain closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic between from 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., reopening each evening.
