SE Bend Septic to Sewer Committee takes break

KTVZ

The SE Bend Septic to Sewer Advisory Committee will be taking January and February off from its regular meeting schedule while the city prepares preliminary construction cost estimates, an updated city sewer utility rate model and a clear set of policy options for the committee’s consideration.

The 12-member advisory committee’s assignment is to present recommendations to Bend City Council on fair and cost-effective solutions to bring sewers to unsewered neighborhoods. The committee has been meeting monthly since June 2017.

The next advisory committee meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on March 1, 2018. (The location will be determined in the future). Meeting information is available on the city’s website www.bendoregon.gov/septictosewer. The public is invited to attend committee meetings.
