Local Alert Weather – Wed. PM

KTVZ

Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!

Snow flurries are wrapping up across the region tonight, but that does not mean we won’t see slick roads. Keep in mind temperatures will be below freezing and spots of ice are likely. Overnight lows will fall into the single digits and teens tonight under decreasing clouds.

Thursday will see mostly sunny skies and overall a beautiful day. We’ll be off to a frosty start in the morning with temperatures beginning in the teens, but quickly warm. Daytime highs will peak in the upper 30s and lower 40s, which is around average.

Increasing clouds arrive by the afternoon. Overnight into Friday we’ll see partly cloudy skies with cold overnight lows again. Average overnight lows should be in the lower 20s. Many areas will be in the single digits and teens again.

There is a slight chance for a few snow flurries overnight Friday into Saturday. A better chance would be across the Cascades. Overall this weekend daytime highs will be cold in the 20s and 30s. Variable cloud cover is expected.
