Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM

KTVZ

Happy Monday evening, everyone!

We started the week with chilly temperatures in the 40s. Under mostly clear skies tonight overnight lows will be cold in the teens and lower 20s. Winds will be breezy at first, but will calm down and turn out of the southeast. Expect a frosty, cold start tomorrow morning!

Tuesday begins with sunshine and fairly clear skies, but we’ll see increasing clouds throughout the day. By the afternoon we’ll see mostly cloudy skies. Daytime highs will be mild in the mid to upper 50s, which is where we should be for this time of year. Winds will be out of the west around 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Heading into the middle of the week a mild, wet system pushes its way inland. We’ll see highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. There’s a slight chance for some rain showers on Wednesday, but a much better chance by Thursday.

Showers will stick with us through the beginning of the weekend.
