Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM
Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!
Clouds have rolled in today as a ridge flattens out across the region. Winds picked up slightly this morning, but will be calm overnight. Tonight we can expect lows in the low to mid 30s, which is above average. Mostly cloudy skies will be overhead. We have a slight chance for a few showers tonight across the highest elevations such as the Cascades or Ochocos. Mt. Bachelor will pick up 1-2″ of snow overnight.
Tomorrow begins on a mild, mostly cloudy note. Highs will climb back into the mid to upper 50s and lower 60s, so we’ll see another day with above average temperatures. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with again that slight chance for showers developing for the highest elevations in the afternoon.
Showers arrive by Thursday and we can expect a good chance for rain showers throughout the day. Highs won’t change too much through Saturday, so we’ll still be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Winds would be slightly breezy to end the week. Friday will see a change for showers before sunrise. Mostly cloudy skies will be overhead.
This weekend the next system moves inland and this will kick up our winds significantly on Saturday. The first part of the weekend will be rainy with showers becoming scattered by Sunday.
