Local Alert Weather, Thu., 4.26.18
Good Thursday Morning, Everyone…
A weak, but developing system off in the Pacific has inched its way closer to the NW this morning. While we start the day with clear skies we will see an increase of clouds throughout the day. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to low 80’s and calm winds this morning will pick up out of the north to 5-10 mph. Partly cloudy skies tonight will yield a slight chance of thunderstorms along with lows in the 40’s. Winds will shift to the NW and pick up to 5-15 mph with gusts to 20 mph.
This current system will gain some strength as it makes landfall. That will bring us a chance of showers from Friday right into next week. Highs Friday will be in the mid 60’s. Highs will drop into the mid 50’s with lows down around freezing for the weekend and into Monday. Not until Tuesday and Wednesday will we see highs back into the 60’s.
