Scouts will again collect, recycle Christmas trees

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Scouting troops will be collecting and recycling Christmas trees in the Bend-Redmond area the weekends of Dec. 28th & 29th and Jan. 4th & 5th.

We request a minimum donation of $10. 100% of the money raised from the scout’s efforts will go directly to the individual Scout’s troop.

Your donation is used to fund local troop activities, community service projects and to replace worn out outdoor gear the scouts use throughout the year.

The mission Scouts is to create the leader of tomorrow by building character through outdoor challenges and education. The troops will be cruising the area picking up trees starting by 9 AM.
