In honor of a fallen C.O. veteran, Bend volunteers with Sleep in Heavenly Peace build more than 130 beds for kids in need

The parking lot of Bend's Home Depot was rocking on Saturday as volunteers with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, many of whom veterans, built more than 130 beds for kids in need, to honor local 19-year-old veteran Trinity Reinhart, who tragically passed away last year.

The more than 130 volunteers included the Bend chapter of Band of Brothers and Veterans of Foreign Wars. If you missed this build, don't worry, this proud 21 Cares for Kids partner is planning another build June 22nd. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is always looking for volunteers and donations.
