ODFW photo contest focuses on Oregon coast

NEWPORT, Ore – (KTVZ) -- The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's Marine Reserves Program announced Tuesday a photo contest through June 18 to showcase how Oregonians see and experience the Oregon coast.

Your Favorite Oregon Coast Experience is the theme of the contest, which covers everything from beach combing, fishing, and diving to tidepooling, an aerial flyover or simply enjoying a coastal sunset. Photos can be from 2020 or previous years’ visits.

Oregonians can submit a single photo. Several winners will be picked by Marine Reserves staff and featured in the June eNewsletter. Submitted photos may be used in ODFW web-based and online publications, social media outlets, and printed materials.

Submit your photo by June 18 by either:

  • Using this Google form if you have a Gmail account. Include your name and brief photo description.
  • Emailing ryan.t.fields@state.or.us Please use “Photo Contest Entry” in the subject line, and include your name and brief photo description.
