‘Armed, Dangerous’ Pair Sought In NE Bend Robbery
Bend police were looking Monday for two “armed and dangerous” men accused of assaulting and robbing another man at a northeast Bend apartment.
The 38-year-old victim, identified as Daniel Tieben. was in a unit of the J.J. Court Apartments at 900 NE Butler Market Road shortly before 2 p.m. when he was assaulted with a weapon by two men and robbed of an undisclosed amount of money and personal property, said Sgt. Brian Kindel. Tieben was a guest at the apartment where the alleged attack took place, he added.
Tieben, who knows the two suspects, suffered several head wounds and was taken to St. Charles Medical Center-Bend for treatment, Kindel said. He added that the wounds were not life-threatening; a nursing supervisor said Tieben was not listed in the patient directory.
The two men being sought in the case were identified as Adam Lee Davenport and Brandon G. Will, both 26-year-old Bend residents.
“The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous, Kindel said in a news release. “Citizens should not confront the suspects” but instead call police.
Kindel said no more information was being released due to the ongoing investigation.
Will made news in 2001, when police linked him to 45 burglaries of Bend businesses and homes over a 2-month period. he pleaded guilty to breaking into nine businesses in a plea agreement.
