Second overnight closure of Third St. underpass

he City of Bend contractor, Jack Robinson and Sons., Inc., was unable to finish the striping work Thursday night that required closing the Third Street underpass.

There will be an additional closure of the Third Street underpass Friday night after 10 p.m., after traffic typically thins out, officials said.

Crews expect to be finished with a few hours, and the road will certainly be reopened before 7 a.m. Saturday morning, they said. A detour will be set up involving Wilson Avenue, Ninth Street and Franklin Avenue.
