Gov orders flags to half-staff to honor Calif. shooting victims

Governor Kate Brown ordered all flags at public institutions throughout Oregon be lowered to half-staff beginning immediately until Monday at sunset to honor the victims of the attacks in San Bernardino, Calif..

“I ask all Oregonians to join me to honor and remember those who lost their lives in the attacks yesterday ,” said Brown. “While we are still learning all of the details, the effects of this attack will be long-lasting. On behalf of Oregon, I extend my sincere condolences to the the victims, those injured, and their families.”
