A Bend RV park worker was arrested on DUII and reckless driving charges Monday evening after his park maintenance pickup crashed into a fifth-wheel RV, causing minor injuries to a resident, police said.

Police and fire medics were dispatched around 8:45 p.m. to the Scandia RV Park at 61415 S. Highway 97 on the reported crash, said Lt. Clint Burleigh.

The RV occupant, Jeffrey Hussey, 56, sustained minor injuries when the 2002 Chevy Silverado towing a utility trailer crashed into it, Burleigh said. He was evaluated on scene by fire medics and did not require further treatment.

RV park employee Frankie Fennessy, 56, of Bend, was found to be intoxicated and was taken to the Deschutes County Jail, where he was lodged on DUII and reckless driving charges. A jail officer said Fennessy posted 10 percent of his $10,000 bail and was released shortly after midnight.
