Sen. Ron Wyden sets Sept. 23 La Pine town hall
Senator Ron Wyden, D-Ore., announced Friday he will hold four town halls next week in Marion, Clackamas, Deschutes and Lane counties.
Wyden’s town halls on Friday, Sept. 22 in Stayton and Canby, and on Saturday, Sept. 23 in La Pine and Oakridge will increase to 68 town halls he has held so far in 2017.
These four town halls also will increase to 849 the number of town halls the senator has held since making his initial commitment when first elected to hold annual town halls in each of Oregon’s 36 counties.
The town halls in Marion, Clackamas and Deschutes counties will be Wyden’s fourth so far this year in each of those counties. The Lane County town hall will be Wyden’s fifth so far this year in that county.
“Oregonians’ unprecedented interest in my 64 town halls so far this year deserves unprecedented access for them to voice their opinions directly,” Wyden said. “I look forward very much to hearing those voices next week at my town halls in Marion, Clackamas, Deschutes and Lane counties.”
