Local Alert Weather 1210 PM
Hello everyone!
Today we saw less fog and more sun throughout Central Oregon. Don’t think the fog is gone, though. It’s still sticking around near Madras and Warm Springs and is more patchy than the past couple days. The fog will grow and get denser overnight and will get freezing. Therefore, roads could be slick tomorrow morning. Freezing Fog Advisory will stay until tomorrow afternoon. If you have a flight be sure to check with the airport’s website. Some flights were canceled last night and early this morning. Overnight lows will be in the low teens to even single digits in parts of Central Oregon.
Tomorrow expect mostly sunny skies with temperatures closer to average in the low 30’s to low 40’s. Patchy fog will stick around and overnight lows will stay cold in the teens.
By Friday the high pressure system will move out of the region, which means fog will leave as well. We’ll see more clouds push through the region with a chance of rain showers next weekend. This will be part of a warm front so temperatures will be back in the upper 40’s to lower 50’s by Sunday.
