Local Alert Weather 0105 AM
Good morning, Central Oregon!
There’s still some patchy fog around Central Oregon. It’s not as dense as it has been earlier this week. This morning we’re waking up to some light rain showers. This has created a glaze overnight on all pavement from roads to sidewalks. Be careful getting to your car and heading out this morning.
Our Friday isn’t as cold as we have been. Some parts are already seeing temperatures in the low 40’s this morning. Today we’ll see temperatures above average. The warm front will continue to give us a chance of pop up rain showers throughout the day, but most of the showers will be this morning and afternoon. Overnight we could have a chance of rain showers, but the majority of the system will stay along the Cascades. Our lows will be in the upper 20’s to lower 30’s.
Tomorrow we’ll stay mostly cloudy with skies staying fairly cloudy, but above average temperatures in the low to mid 40’s. Mt. Bachelor will wake up to an inch of fresh snow. Hopefully this is a sign of their dry spell coming to an end. We’ll remain dry, but cloudy throughout the weekend and the beginning of next week.
Tuesday another front will move through, bringing another round of rain showers. Temperatures will remain in the low to mid 40’s for the work week coming up. We’ll dry up briefly on Wednesday before another round of showers returns Thursday.
