Redmond road closures and delays: Week of May 27-31

Here’s the city of Redmond’s planned road closures and delays update for the week of May 27-31:

City Street Maintenance Operations:

Monday, May 27 thru May 31 – Starting at 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the following road closures or traffic disruptions will take place:

Crack seal operations will be commencing throughout the City; activities may temporarily disrupt lanes and intersections.

ADA Street Improvement projects and curb ramp enhancements will be occurring at local intersections; activities may temporarily disrupt lanes and intersections.

NOTE – During street maintenance operations, closure durations and disruptions are determined by progress of the operation and weather conditions.

Ongoing Closures:

SW 8th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Deschutes Ave – Closed for construction thru Friday, May 31, 2019

SW 8th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Deschutes Ave will be closed while construction activities related to the Centennial Park Expansion occur. Please use detours or an alternate route.

SW 6th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Forest Ave – Traffic disruptions and sidewalk closures for construction thru Friday, May 31, 2019

SW 6th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Forest Ave will experience lane and sidewalk closures as SunWest Builders performs construction activities for the Historic Redmond Hotel. Business access will be available. Please use caution.

SW 35th St from SW Obsidian Ave to SW Pumice Ave – Closed for construction thru Friday, May 31, 2019

SW 35th St from SW Obsidian Ave to SW Pumice Ave will be closed while Davison Construction widens the road, installs curbs, sidewalks, and asphalt paving. Local access for residents will be permitted. Please use detours or an alternate route.
