Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM
Happy Monday evening, everyone!
Thunderstorms are again across Central Oregon this afternoon and this evening, but once we get past sunset we’ll see conditions calm. Partly cloudy skies will be overhead through the overnight. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 40s. Winds will be breezy at times gusting around 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Tomorrow will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny overall. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s, which is still below average. Winds will be gusty in the afternoon as an area of low pressure exits the region. We have a slight chance for a few thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon.
By Wednesday we’ll be left with some clouds, but temperatures will start to warm. We’ll be in the mid to upper 70s. Low temperatures will be in the low to mid 40s, which is average.
The Fourth of July will see pretty perfect conditions. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s and we’ll have mostly sunny skies overhead. Now that’s going to feel like summer! Remember, fuels are still VERY dry and Fire Danger is HIGH.
As we head into the weekend we’ll see highs in the low to mid 80s. We’ll see some clouds from time to time over the course of the weekend. Low temperatures will be in the 40s or 50s.
