Local Alert Weather, Tue. AM, 7-2-19
Good Tuesday Morning, Everyone…
As an extremely active storm system exits to the north we will see the beginning of some fair conditions that will carry us right through the coming holiday weekend. Highs today will be in the low to mid 70’s and NW breezes will be pretty gentle at 5 -10 mph . Overnight lows will be in the 40’s ; average for this time of year. Skies will become partly cloudy and breezes will turn light out of the west after midnight.
We will stay mostly sunny Wednesday, but we are looking at highs that will be only modestly warmer. By Thursday, the 4th of July, we will see temps getting back to something more normal for this time of year. Highs will be in the low 80’s and that will set us up for mild conditions during the fireworks displays. Please keep in mind that despite all the rain, forests remain dry. The risk of wildfire started by campfires or fireworks is very real. We will see more sunshine for the rest of the week and through the weekend. Highs will climb into the mid 80′ s and we expect to stay quite nice well into next week.
