One Washington state resident was killed and two were injured Saturday evening in a single-vehicle rollover crash on U.S. Highway 26 near Warm Springs, Oregon State Police reported Sunday.

Troopers and emergency personnel responded around 5:30 p.m. to the reported crash near milepost 81 in Wasco County.

Troopers said a preliminary investigation found that a white 2006 Ford F-350 pickup truck driven by Calvin D. Craig, 79, of Ridgefield, Washington, was heading east on the highway when it left the road for unknown reasons and overturned, landing upside-down beside the road.

Craig died at the scene, troopers said. Two passengers identified as Jenny Craig, 76, also of Ridgefield, and Edward Totland, 55, of Tacoma, Washington were taken by ambulance to St. Charles Madras. A condition report was not available Sunday morning.

The crash and investigation closed both lanes of Highway 26 for several hours.

OSP said they were assisted at the scene by Warm Springs police, Warm Springs Fire and Rescue and ODOT.
