WASHINGTON (AP) — Families and gun control advocates are pressing President Joe Biden to do more to address gun violence, four years after 17 students and others were gunned down at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. One father of a teenager killed in the shooting scaled a 150-foot construction crane near the White House on Monday, from where he sent a tweet demanding the president’s attention. The dad, Manuel Oliver, said the “whole world” would listen to his son today. Joaquin Oliver was killed in the shooting. The father and two other protesters were arrested.
