IMI N’TALA, Morocco (AP) — Moroccan rescuers have been joined by crews from Spain, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar as they dig through rubble for bodies still buried in devastated communities in the Atlas Mountains. Food and water has finally arrived in those villages, but the work to recover the bodies of people lost to Friday’s quake is ongoing. In the village of Imi N’Tala, the recovery work proceeded even as an aftershock Wednesday evening rattled already frayed nerves. Moroccan authorities reported 2,946 deaths as of Wednesday. The government has limited the amount of earthquake aid allowed into the country and is only allowing outside response crews from those four other countries and some nongovernmental organizations.
