GENEVA (AP) — Relations between Israel and the United Nations have long been tense. They have sunk to a low ebb following Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, attacks and Israel’s powerful military campaign against its enemies in its region. The conflict has led to untold death and destruction and sent U.N. and other humanitarians scrambling to limit the fallout on civilians.
