Bend, Deschutes County first responders compete in ‘Battle of the Badges’ Blood Drive

Monday was the annual "Battle of the Badges" Blood Drive. Traditionally, the Bend Police and Fire departments compete to see who can donate the most blood - but, in this battle, there are two new contenders. Now the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office and Sheriff's Search and Rescue are giving their blood. In a very close competition, the winner of this year's battle was the Bend Police Department.
