Officers responded around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a missing person at the hotel in the 700 block of NE Third Street, Bend Police Communications Manager Sheila Miller said Wednesday in a news release.

The caller said his girlfriend, Julie Collins Negrelli, 42, of Flagstaff, Arizona went for a walk around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, taking only her phone and room key, and failed to return.

He told police he last spoke to Negrelli around 1:25 a.m. Tuesday, when she told him she was at a convenience store, helping a homeless person get something to eat, Miller said. She said she planned to return to the hotel when she was done, but her boyfriend has not heard from her since.

Negrelli was visiting Central Oregon with her boyfriend to go rock-climbing, Miller said, and is not familiar with the area.

Officers conducted an extensive search for Negrelli overnight but did not find her, Miller said, adding that the search is ongoing.

Negrelli is described as a white female, with blue eyes and brown hair. She’s about 5-feet-2 and weighs about 115 pounds. Her nose is pierced on both sides and she has a small cross tattoo on her sternum. Miller said she last was seen wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt that says “One Eyed Buffalo” and black leggings.

If you see Negrelli, you’re asked to call Deschutes County non-emergency dispatch at 541-693-6911.
