There’s Good News: Terrebonne Square welcomes new boutique and tattoo shop with Western flair

TERREBONNE, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Two new businesses, Rowdy Ranch Boutique and Resale and Smith Rock Tattoo, are opening in Terrebonne Square. The new owners are collaborating with each other to support small, local business.

Rowdy Ranch Boutique and Resale offers both new and used clothing with a Western focus, while Smith Rock Tattoo features an artist with a focus on ranch-themed artwork. These new neighbors, along with Red Point Climbing Supply, have begun connecting to promote each other, in order to bolster business in Terrebone.

Rowdy Ranch Boutique and Resale takes donations and finds gently used clothing. The shop offers items for all ages, including infants.

The boutique side of the business has new clothing with a Western theme.

Owner, Rebecka Greer, says the local community has shown excitement over the new shopping location.

"I feel like we have a little bit of something for everyone. We have had some moms, grandmas, dads," Greer said. "I had a grandpa and the other day he asked for a little bit of help picking out an outfit for each of his grandkids. I truly feel that you could find something for everyone in our shop."

Just next door, Smith Rock Tattoo is currently preparing to fully open its doors.

The tattoo shop will feature two local artists with the owner is currently looking for a third. Owner, Emily Buring, grew up in Sisters. Her love for horses and small towns is represented in her art. She specializes in tattoos with Western themes.

"I grew up in the horse industry. I grew up with horses. I've been surrounded by the ranching community and the different Western way of life for my entire life," Buring said. "And so it's really inspired my work as a tattooist. I love to tattoo anything Western horse related."

Smith Rock Tattoo is currently open by appointment through its social media pages. The shop plans to hold a grand opening at the end of February or the beginning of March.
