Trees removed at new SE Bend park site donated to those in need

Hazardous trees were being removed Wednesday at what will become the new Alpenglow Park off SE 15th Street in Bend. The trees that were cut down will go to the Nativity Lutheran Church wood lot, which donates firewood to people in need.
