Mare adopts orphaned wild mustang foal from Ochocos
Bend Equine Medical Center and Mustangs to the Rescue recently helped an orphaned newborn wild mustang foal found running frantically on a road in the Ochocos, and after ICU care introduced her to a mare, Honey, who "has had many babies and loves being a mama." One day after Mother's Day, they were brought together, in a scene that brought tears.
