New Years at Pangaea: Celebrate with a battle royale

BEND, Ore. -- (KTVZ) -- If you want to celebrate New Year’s eve a little differently, take a trip to Pangaea. It’s a meeting place, cafe and bar for board games and Dungeons and Dragons. For New Years, they’re going to have a Dungeons and Dragons battle royale where players fight each other in an arena style tournament.

The event is open to anyone who wants to join in for a five dollar fee with prizes for the winners. Even if you don’t know how to play, it can be quite a spectacle.

Chris Trullsen, Owner of Pangaea Guild Hall said “It's going to be, very entertaining and raucous, I believe, because people really get into combat, especially when they're playing Dungeons and Dragons and when it's player versus player, really anything can happen. So it's it's very fun to watch. “

Their bar will be serving season drinks. The owner is trying to bring his own family’s tradition to the shop, by also having a coney island style hot dog buffet, at the event as well.
