Local Alert Weather – Wed. PM
Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!
We’re looking at mostly clear skies tonight as temperatures plummet. Overnight lows will bottom out in the upper single digits and teens. Expect another cold, frosty, clear start to the day. Winds will be light out of the south gusting 5 miles per hour.
Halloween will start on a cold note with temperatures in the teens. A few high clouds will roll through the beginning and middle of the day. Winds will be calm. Highs will top out in the low to mid 50s, which is average. If you are heading out for trick-or-treating I would bundle up! Temperatures will cool very quickly past sunset.
The end of the week will see a slight cool down with highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s. We’re still looking at mostly sunny skies as a ridge of high pressure stretches across the forecast area. Friday will see light breezes topping 10 miles per hour.
Our warm up arrives this weekend with highs in the mid to upper 50s. Overnight lows will still be cold, but not single digits and lower teens. Mostly sunny skies are ahead for Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be the warmest of the extended forecast on Sunday topping out in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Next week is still looking mostly sunny with highs around average in the mid 50s!
