Mostly sunny tomorrow, but snow likely on the way

Happy Wednesday, Central Oregon.

Tonight through Saturday night, a high pressure ridge will settle in over the region.

Conditions will continue to clear in most areas, except in Madras, where there is a chance of patchy freezing fog overnight continuing through Friday.

Overnight Wednesday night, we are looking at lows in the mid-teens in the La Pine area to the low 20s in Madras.

Thursday highs will be similar to Wednesday's, staying around average in the mid- to high 40s.

Cloud cover will build Saturday as the next shortwave trough approaches, ultimately leading to the possibility of rain/snow showers late Saturday.

Snow levels on Sunday morning start off around 4,500 feet, then drop to 2,600 feet by Monday morning.

Mountain snow showers are expected to continue into Monday.

Moderate snow amounts are possible with this system through Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving.
