Cold Start To A Chilly Day

KTVZ

-GOOD TUESDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...

The advance of a cold front from the west will thicken our clouds and ramp up the winds this afternoon. Skies will become mostly cloudy and highs will only reach the mid to upper 30's and SE winds will pick up to 10-15 mph; gusting to 25 mph. Skies will stay mostly cloudy tonight. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 20's. SE winds will stay up around 10-15 mph until morning.

As this system makes its way across the Pacific NW our clouds will continue to thicken and then deliver some late day showers. We can expect to see snow and mixed showers across the High Desert Wednesday night. Temperatures will warm into the upper 40's to low 50's by the end of the week. We will see a chance of mixed showers stay with us through the weekend ahead. We will also see a cooling trend take thermometers back down to something a little more normal for this time of year Sunday and Monday.
