Mostly sunny; breezy

-GOOD THURSDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...

A brief break between systems will bring a pleasant, howbeit breezy, day to the High Desert today. Under mostly sunny skies our highs will reach the low 60's and NW winds will pick up to 10-20 mph, gusting to nearly 30 mph in some areas. Skies will turn partly cloudy tonight and lows will be scattered throughout the 30's. Winds will become light and variable this evening and stay that way through the night.

Highs will warm into the mid 60's Friday after a brief and slight chance of some morning showers. Saturday's highs will be in the mid 60's, as well, but rain is likely, especially in the afternoon and evening. Partly cloudy skies Sunday will be accompanied by highs near 70 degrees. A chance of scattered rain showers Sunday night will extend into Monday morning. Monday will see highs in the low 60's, but then the warmup begins. With some additional clearing, we will see highs in the mid 70's Tuesday and upper 70's Wednesday.
