Showers and possibly thunderstorms on the way

After a warm and sunny Mother's Day, changes are on the way.

Central Oregon has between a 30-50% chance for showers throughout the day on Monday, with a possibility of thunderstorms.

North to northwest wind speeds on Monday should be calm for the most part, but we could have gusts that reach 18-20 miles per hour at night.

Then on Tuesday, those winds switch to coming out of the southwest instead, pushing another system our way.

Rain is likely Tuesday through Thursday afternoon, including some more chances for thunderstorms.

Precipitation takes a break on Friday, but returns next Saturday and Sunday.
