And so it begins…

-GOOD MONDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...

A low-pressure center that will show little movement over the next few days will also gain strength. It will deliver an increasing chance of rain showers, along with some possible thunderstorms scattered across the region. Today's highs will be in the upper 60's to low 70's, with gentle NW breezes. Winds will pick up tonight and our chance of rain will increase. Lows will be in the mid 30's to mid 40's.

A chance of rain, thunderstorms and cooler temperatures will stay with us through Thursday night, when this system will break up. The break we see Friday will be fairly short-lived. A front from the next system will bring another chance of showers that will stay with us through the coming weekend.
