Hazy skies expected through Monday

Happy Sunday, Central Oregon!

It's been another day with hazy skies across the region, putting our air quality levels for the most part in the moderate range right now.

The haze is likely going to stick with us through at least Monday evening.

Calm winds until then are going to mainly keep the smoke at the surface level.

Cooler forecast lows in La Pine Sunday night mean a chance for widespread frost, in addition to the widespread haze.

Then we welcome mostly clear skies Tuesday and Wednesday before another system starts to slowly make its way onto the High Desert.

We have about a 35% chance at seeing showers next Friday, with another slight chance for rain next Saturday.
